cleaning

Nanotech SHAMPOO

How do I prepare the product for use?

Shake well before use, then dilute each capful with one litre of water.

How much should I use for a single wash?

It depends how dirty your equipment is! A maximum of around 2-3 capfuls should be sufficient to clean a motorbike.

Can the product be used undiluted?

Yes, but only on extremely soiled surfaces, and even then only on small areas - anything bigger would be a waste.

Nanotech WAX

How do I use this product?

Shake well both before and during use, so that when you push in the cap, the CO2 doesn’t leak out of the spray can before it mixes with the liquid.

How should it be applied?

Coat the surface to be treated (for smaller surfaces, spray a small amount onto a cloth making sure not to waste any of the product), then apply it with a soft cloth.

What precautions should I take prior to application?

We recommend cleaning the treatment area with Nanotech Shampoo before applying Nanotech Wax.

Nanotech DEGREASER

How do I use this product?

Shake well both before and during use, so that when you push in the cap, the CO2 doesn’t leak out of the spray can before it mixes with the liquid.

How should it be applied?

Spray an appropriate amount of the product on the treatment area, then leave it to act for anywhere from 30 seconds to a few minutes depending on the amount of dirt that needs to be removed. Following this, activate any moving parts that have been treated.

performance

Nanotech LUBE WET & DRY

How do I use this product?

Shake well both before and during use, so that when you push in the cap, the CO2 doesn’t leak out of the spray can before it mixes with the liquid.

How should it be applied?

Apply evenly across the treatment area and then activate any moving parts that have been treated.

How much should I use?

It depends on the surface that requires treatment; however unlike other products our Wet & Dry Lubes are concentrated so they don’t need to be used in excessive quantities.
Once the nanomolecules contained within the product have bound themselves to the surfaces and filled in any imperfections at nano level, using any more of the product is redundant as the excess will be rejected by any treated mechanisms as leftover residue.

What precautions should I take prior to application?

Before applying one of our lubes we recommend cleaning the treatment area with Nanotech Degreaser.

What is the difference between the two products?

The products differ in terms of the conditions in which they should be used: use Wet Lube to deal with rain and snow, and Dry Lube for dry and arid climates.

protection

Nanotech PRECLEAN

How do I use this product?

Spray the product onto the treatment area (glass or plastic) then clean with a microfiber cloth until the surface in question is entirely free of grease.

Nanotech TX GLASS

How do I use this product?

Spray the product onto the treatment area and apply it with a microfiber cloth, then dry the surface and remove any stains with a clean cloth.

What precautions should I take prior to application?

Before applying this product we recommend cleaning the treatment area with Nanotech Preclean.

How long does the product’s effect last for?

The effect lasts a minimum of 5-6 months up to a maximum of around 12 months, depending on the level of abrasion and the climatic conditions that the treated surfaces are exposed to.
Duration is measured by how long the product sticks to surfaces, which isn’t always the same as what we think we can see with the naked eye.

What can I do when the effect starts to wear off?

The treatment may begin to deteriorate in certain areas - typically those exposed to the most friction, such as the area of a windscreen under the wipers. If this happens then you need only re-apply the product to any areas where the repellent effect has visibly diminished - the new nano-layer will reintegrate itself into the existing one already present on the treated surface.

How do I clean treated surfaces?

When cleaning surfaces, avoid substances that are either strongly acidic (pH <2.5) or alkali (pH >12), as these could cause the treatment to deteriorate. Use a microfiber cloth and water; if necessary add a neutral detergent. Do not use abrasive cloths.

Nanotech TX PLASTIC

How do I use this product?

Spray the product directly onto the treatment area and apply it with a microfiber cloth, then dry the surface and remove any stains with a clean cloth (or spray directly onto a cloth to treat smaller surfaces). Once you’ve dried the surface, remove any stains with a clean cloth.

What precautions should I take prior to application?

Before applying this product we recommend treating the surfaces with Nanotech Preclean.

Nanotech TX FABRIC

How do I use this product?

Spray the treatment area from a distance of around 15cm. To obtain optimum protection, spray on an additional 2 or 3 coats before the previous coat has dried. If there is an excess of liquid then spread it evenly over the surface and dry it with a clean cloth.

What precautions should I take prior to application?

Surfaces should be cleaned prior to application.

How long does the product’s effect last for?

It depends on the material that has been treated: on chamois or resinated leather, up to 9 months; on synthetic fabrics and velvet, up to 12 months; for other garments, depending on usage it can last up to 6 months provided treated items are washed delicately by hand. Duration is measured by how long the product sticks to surfaces, which isn’t always the same as what we think we can see with the naked eye.

How do I clean treated surfaces?

DO NOT WASH TREATED CLOTHES BY WASHING MACHINE.To remove stains, first gently use a paper towel to remove any excess liquid, then rinse with plenty of water in order to wash away any dirt with the resulting solution. If necessary dissolve a neutral detergent into the water. Do not rub the dirt into the surface, or wring the garment with excessive force.

What will happen if I wash a treated garment by machine?

The centrifugal force and the temperature of the water will likely cause the treatment to deteriorate or indeed completely disappear after anywhere from 1-5 washes. After this, the garment will need to be treated afresh.
